The Club Vistalagos Project
§ The Club Vistalagos project is a residential development stretching from the rim of the Laguna de Apoyo back towards Granada, the oldest colonial city in the Americas.
§ Granada is 30 miles and 40 minutes from the center of Managua and the international airport.
§ Club Vistalagos itself is a mere 3 miles / 10 minutes from the center of Granada
§ It is a tranquil, gated community of mostly US, Canadian and
international retirees with its own security guards and
maintenance and gardening staff for the common area grounds.
§ Some of the lots have views over the Laguna de Apoyo, these
are the rim lots like lot 34 or Lake Nicaragua or both, and
all lot owners enjoy access to our swimming at our beach
on the waterfront of the laguna or just a quiet cocktail
watching the sunset.
§ Lot prices range from $85,000 for one of the few remaining
quarter or third acre lots on the rim of the laguna, with view to
the laguna to between $25,000 and $45,000 for half to two
acre lots in the back of the development, with easy
access to the laguna.
§ HOA fees are currently $480 per annum, making the
total investment price among the cheapest in Nicaragua, based
on 2020 costs.

The spec home we are building on lot 1 is 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, with 1 car garage that will include a bodega (storage area) and laundry. We are including a large open covered (patio) area overlooking Mombacho Volcano and Granada City and lake. The home will be on a ½ acre lot with approx 1650 sq ft, average ceiling heights are 10 to 12 ft. The home will be designed with retirees in mind and therefore we use US ADA standard – eliminating all steps, curbless walk in shower and adding wide entry doorways and halls.
